Operations planning leaders from 9 different companies convened in Basel, Switzerland on December 13th, 2017 to discuss the journey from S&OP to IBP. It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas between sectors ranging from life science, process, and fast-moving consumer goods.
EyeOn brought in expert speakers to address the challenges in raising the bar in cross functional planning process. A customer project was presented to showcase best practices that were developed during this assignment. One of the highlights was the importance of soft skills, especially around nurturing an organizational cultural change required to embed IBP in the long run. This refreshing presentation encouraged the attendees to discuss the subject matter, raise questions and exchange inspiring ideas.
